Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Feed, water, clean habitats, and medicate store-owned pets (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals).
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate action for sick/injured pets.
- Recommend merchandise, services, and live pets while assisting across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek pet lovers with strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment.
