Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Ancaster, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional experiences, and uphold our vision. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care. Enjoy flexibility across store areas, including services, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish.
- Maintain cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety: monitor pets, transport sick/injured to vet, administer medications as directed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: stand/walk/lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. Ladder use, depth perception required.
