Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person, phone, register, and online interactions; greet, answer questions, prepare orders.
- Manage store pet health: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish); administer vet-directed meds; handle sick pets.
- Maintain cleanliness, execute price changes, stock and recover merchandise to sales floor standards.
- Sell products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; assist across store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—entry-level welcome! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical: stand/walk/lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle animals in moderate-noise, wet, pet-hair environment. Ladder use, depth perception essential.
