Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Aventura store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and customer service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medicating as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events.
- Ensure store cleanliness, pet safety, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets while assisting across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
