Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associate (Retail Sales Associate) delivers outstanding pet parent experiences, maintains store standards, and provides direct care for in-store pets. This entry-level role offers flexibility across sales floor, services, and pet care, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order fulfillment, and seamless checkouts.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets; administer vet-directed medications.
- Uphold cleanliness, execute price changes, stock merchandise per sales floor plans, and recover products.
- Sell products, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
Experience & Skills
