Our full-time Pet Associates in Boca Raton, FL, deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role suits animal lovers ready for dynamic retail with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Manage pet health: feed, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish), administer meds, and transport sick pets to vets.
- Keep store spotless, handle merchandising, pricing, and product recovery.
- Promote events, recommend products/services/pets, and ensure safety for all.
- Flex across departments while following policies and embracing our Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb, stand, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items essential.
