Role Overview

As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Bolton, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, uphold company values, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers dynamic responsibilities in a fun, pet-filled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed medications.
• Ensure store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock and recover merchandise to sales floor standards.
• Recommend products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain safety for associates, pets, customers; respond to sick/injured pets and assist across store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required. We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical capability to stand, lift 50+ lbs, handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair environment. Climb ladders, stoop, and team-lift as needed.
