Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Brantford, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional experiences, and uphold our vision. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care. Enjoy flexibility across sales floor, services, and online order fulfillment in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online pickups.
• Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), administer vet-directed meds.
• Maintain cleanliness, face/fill products, stage new merchandise, handle price changes.
• Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; respond to sick pets and transport to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+), stand/walk/climb, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. No prior experience required—passion for pets is key.
