Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals; administer vet-directed meds.
- Ensure store cleanliness, product stocking, facing, recovery, and promotional updates.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets and assist store-wide.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Successful candidates have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and teamwork essential.
