Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll be the friendly face of PetSmart, engaging pet parents, caring for store pets, and keeping our store spotless and stocked. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, online, and at checkout.
- Feed, water, clean habitats, and medicate store-owned pets (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals).
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain safety standards, respond to pet health issues, and assist across store areas.
- Uphold cleanliness and recover sales floor to company standards.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and work flexible hours including weekends/holidays. Comfort with live animals, composure under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
