Role Overview
PetSmart's full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) is the heart of our store, delivering exceptional pet parent experiences, maintaining pet safety standards, and upholding store operations. This entry-level role in Burleson offers flexibility, hands-on pet care, and a chance to make a daily impact in a fun, pet-filled atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and respond to health issues.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Sell merchandise, services, and live pets while promoting events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and assist across departments including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle pressure calmly, and are available evenings, weekends, holidays.
