Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Caguas store, you'll deliver outstanding customer experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a welcoming retail environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and daily interactions with pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales recommendations.
- Provide direct pet care: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and administer vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and maintaining cleanliness/safety standards.
- Promote events (adoptions, Treats enrollment) and respond urgently to pet health issues, including vet transport.
- Flex across store areas including services, following all policies for a safe, inclusive environment.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Bring strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing, ladder use). Thrive in a dynamic setting with live animals, moderate noise, and pet hair.
