Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Canton Twp, Michigan, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility across evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling live animals in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety, and respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and pets while supporting all store areas.
Experience & Skills
