As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, you'll deliver outstanding customer service, care for live pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through personalized in-store, phone, online, and pickup experiences.
- Provide daily care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and health monitoring.
- Execute merchandising tasks including product facing, stocking, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Promote products, services, live pets, and events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards, store cleanliness, and respond immediately to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and animal handling. Exposure to pets, moderate noise, and wet environments is part of the fun.
