Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Carolina, Puerto Rico, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and daily joy in a pet-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medications per vet direction.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and handle sick pets by transporting to vet if needed.
- Recommend products, services, and pets while supporting all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet conditions). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
