Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate in our Carolina store, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medications, and vet transport if needed.
- Execute merchandising: stock products, face shelves, price changes, and recover sales floor.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and company policies across all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, animal handling in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and teamwork essential.
