Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Chandler, Arizona, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet interaction, and pathways to leadership in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through personalized service, order fulfillment, and expert recommendations.
- Provide daily care for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals, including feeding, habitat maintenance, and vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising tasks: stock shelves, face products, manage price changes, and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Promote events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment while ensuring safety for pets, associates, and customers.
- Respond swiftly to pet health issues and assist across departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
