Role Overview
As a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in our Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island store, you'll be the friendly face for pet parents, delivering outstanding service while caring for our live pets. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, sales, and store operations in a fun, pet-filled environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock shelves, and recover merchandise to standards.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
