Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Chilliwack store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers dynamic responsibilities blending customer service, pet care, and retail operations in a fun, pet-filled atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, online, and at pickup.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and respond to pet health issues.
• Recommend products, services, and pets while supporting all store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, handle flexible schedules (evenings/weekends/holidays), and meet physical demands: lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, ladder use, and animal exposure. Depth perception and composure in moderate-noise, pet-hair environments essential.
