As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Chino, CA, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining cleanliness and safety. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent service in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain store safety, respond to sick pets, and assist across departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek animal lovers with strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items essential.
