Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Cincinnati, Ohio, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, and maintain store standards. This entry-level role involves direct pet care, sales, merchandising, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, face/fill products, stage new merchandise, and support price changes/promotions.
• Recommend and sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety: monitor pets, take action on sick/injured animals, and assist across store areas as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a dynamic retail setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
