Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates in City of Industry, CA, deliver exceptional customer service, care for live pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and benefits, perfect for animal lovers ready to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and transport sick pets.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and sales floor standards while recommending products and services.
- Collaborate across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
