Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Colorado Springs, CO, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver outstanding service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility across evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling live animals in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respond to pet health issues by transporting to vets as needed.
• Sell merchandise/services and collaborate across store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, and physical stamina for standing, lifting, climbing, and animal exposure. Vision for depth perception and teamwork in moderate-to-high noise settings essential.
