Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and register service.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets with immediate action.
- Support all store areas, uphold cleanliness, and embody our culture of belonging.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, ladder use). Passion for pets and retail energy are key.
