Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets; administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes, and recover sales floor.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety: maintain cleanliness, respond to sick pets, and foster a secure environment for all.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Successful candidates have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, ladder use). Comfort with animals, wet/hairy environments, and moderate noise essential.
