Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience in our Denver, CO store. You'll interact with customers and pets, maintain store standards, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, sales, and teamwork in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service in-person, online, and at checkout; prepare pick-up orders.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, clean habitats, administer vet-directed meds, and respond to health issues.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety for associates, pets, and customers.
- Recommend products, services, and pets to drive sales.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and work flexible hours including weekends/holidays. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments is common.
