Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in East Hanover, New Jersey, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role supports sales, services, and operations, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, climb ladders, lift 50 lbs frequently (team lift 100+ lbs), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, order prep, and sales. Maintain pet health by cleaning habitats, feeding, medicating per vet direction, and emergency vet transport. Stock products, face shelves, update pricing, promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment. Ensure safety and cleanliness across the store.
