Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Edmonton, Alberta store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision for pet care. Share in store maintenance, cleanliness, and direct pet care while supporting sales and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store standards through cleaning, merchandising, product recovery, pricing updates, and safety protocols.
• Sell merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Respond to pet health issues, ensure safe environments, and assist across all store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
