Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Elyria, Ohio, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets while assisting across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina for standing, lifting, climbing, and animal exposure in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
