Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences drive sales and ensure top pet care standards. This entry-level role offers dynamic daily variety in a fun pet-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-person online and at pickup answering questions and recommending products services pets.
- Maintain pet health by feeding watering cleaning habitats (fish birds reptiles small animals) and administering vet-directed meds.
- Keep store spotless stock shelves face products handle price changes and recover sales floor.
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives.
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers identifying transporting sick pets as needed.
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift 50lbs+ (team lift 100lbs+) climb kneel in moderate-noise pet hair-filled settings with live animals.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina. Thrive in fast-paced team settings.
