Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, ensure store cleanliness, and provide direct care for in-store pets. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, sales opportunities, and flexibility across store operations in a fun, pet-filled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to pet parents in-person, online, and at pickup.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats, and administering vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle pricing updates, and promote events/adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet emergencies.
- Support all store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic retail setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
