Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) youll engage pet parents provide top-tier pet care and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with animals sales and operations in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive positive pet parent interactions handling sales register online orders and inquiries
- Provide direct care for store pets including feeding cleaning habitats and vet-directed medications
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking facing products price changes and sales floor recovery
- Promote events recommend products and ensure safety for pets associates and customers
- Maintain cleanliness and respond swiftly to pet health issues
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet enthusiasts thrive here. You need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+ climb ladders and work around animals. Depth perception and composure under pressure are essential.
