Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates in Grand Prairie, TX, deliver outstanding customer service, care for live pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, sales opportunities, and paths to advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment; ensure pet safety and respond to health issues.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist in all areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
