Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility across evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to shine in sales, pet care, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats—including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety by monitoring pets, responding to illnesses, and maintaining store standards.
- Collaborate across departments, lifting up to 50 lbs individually or 100+ lbs in teams.
