Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, ensure store cleanliness, and provide direct care for live pets. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, customer engagement, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to pet parents in-person, online, and at pickup.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats, and administering vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle pricing, and promote events like adoptions.
- Uphold safety standards and respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Support all store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet areas is common.
