As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and customer service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medicating as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure store cleanliness, pet safety, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to drive sales.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek enthusiastic individuals with strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
