Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean safe store. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and customer service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences across channels including online pickup.
- Feed, water, clean habitats, and medicate store pets (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals).
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events/adoptions.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Assist in services and various store areas as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work around pets/noise.
