Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, from greeting customers and handling online orders to providing direct care for store pets like birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals. You'll uphold our vision of safety, cleanliness, and outstanding service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver positive interactions with pet parents across all channels, answering questions and recommending products/services.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats, administering vet-directed medications, and transporting sick pets.
- Execute merchandising tasks: facing products, stocking shelves, price changes, and event promotions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and operational standards while assisting in services areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—entry-level role! We seek pet enthusiasts with strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-filled environment.
