Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Hot Springs, Arkansas, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role involves store operations, pet care, and sales while upholding our vision of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions; greet customers and prepare online orders.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), administer vet-directed medications, and respond to sick pets.
• Maintain store standards: cleanliness, merchandising, product recovery, pricing updates, and safety for associates, pets, and customers.
• Sell merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Flexibly assist across departments including services as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – pet passion is key! You need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
