Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive positive pet parent experiences in our Jacksonville, FL store. You'll handle sales, pet care, store operations, and safety while embodying our vision of exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service across all channels, greeting pet parents and fulfilling online orders.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medicating as directed, and transporting sick pets to vets.
- Maintain store standards through cleaning, merchandising, product recovery, and promotional setups.
- Sell products, services, and live pets while promoting events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic retail setting with moderate noise and pet hair.
