Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive exceptional pet parent experiences in our Jacksonville, NC store. You'll handle sales, pet care, store operations, and safety, all while embodying our vision of doing Anything for Pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish), administer vet-directed meds.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception needed.
