Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Kelowna, BC, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a safe, clean store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and the joy of working with animals daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medications, and vet transport if needed.
- Execute merchandising: price changes, product staging, facing, filling, and recovery.
- Promote events, recommend products/services/pets, and ensure safety standards.
- Support all store areas, follow policies, and contribute to team culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, lift 50+ lbs, handle physical demands (standing, climbing, stooping), and work flexible shifts.
