Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Kissimmee store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and direct pet care while driving sales and promoting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Provide pet healthcare for store-owned animals: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store standards: cleanliness, product facing/filling, price changes, merchandising per sales floor plans.
• Recommend and sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, customers; respond to sick/injured pets and assist across departments.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: stand/walk extensively, lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
