Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Lebanon, Ohio store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and drive sales while upholding PetSmart's vision. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and retail experience with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, phone, register, and online order fulfillment.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Support all store areas including services as needed.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Composure under pressure.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50 lbs frequently (team lift 100+ lbs), climb ladders, handle animals in moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environments. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
