Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Levittown, PA, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and rewards for animal lovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service across in-person, phone, register, and online channels, including online order prep.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Keep store spotless, handle merchandising, price changes, product stocking, and recovery to sales floor standards.
- Sell products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; respond to sick pets and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina for standing, lifting 50lbs (team lift 100lbs), ladder use in pet-filled environments.
