Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, customer service, and merchandising in a dynamic retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats – feeding, cleaning, medicating as directed.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise, services, events like adoptions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
• Support all store areas, including services, while following policies and fostering a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
