Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction and customer service in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats, administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events, recommend products/services/pets, and ensure safety standards.
- Respond to pet health issues and assist across store areas as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work around pets/noise.
