Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in McKinney Texas you'll engage pet parents provide top-tier pet care and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers dynamic responsibilities blending customer service sales and hands-on pet care in a fun pet-filled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive positive pet parent interactions handling in-person phone register and online orders
- Care for store-owned pets: feed water clean habitats (fish birds reptiles small animals) and administer vet-directed meds
- Execute merchandising: face fill recover products manage price changes and promotions
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives
- Uphold safety cleanliness and respond urgently to sick/injured pets including vet transport
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop work amid pet hair/noise/animals). Depth perception essential for pet handling.
