Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Midlothian, Virginia, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility, impact, and opportunities to thrive in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising: stock products, face shelves, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and pets to boost sales and loyalty.
Experience & Skills
