Role Overview

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Mississauga, Ontario store, you'll deliver outstanding customer experiences, care for live pets, and keep our store running smoothly. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, sales opportunities, and pathways to advancement in pet retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and respond to health issues.
• Maintain merchandising standards: face/fill products, stage new inventory, support price changes and promotions.
• Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives; recommend products, services, and pets.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and company policies across all store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
